Hokkaido, Japan 2010

Japan's most Northerly island. I had the privilege and pleasure of visiting this beautiful island in mid-winter of 2010. At 16 degrees below zero, the weather was as bitter as the landscape was calm, serene and beautiful. It is a photographer's paradise and will always hold a special place in my memory and heart.
